President E. Gordon Gee Accepts Simon Award

University leaders accept Simon Award

On Thursday, November 21, NAFSA: Association of International Educators presented West Virginia University with the Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization. The award recognizes colleges and universities that excel in international education. 

The award was accepted by WVU President, E. Gordon Gee, accompanied by Vice President for Global Strategies and International Affairs, William Brustein.

"WVU has established itself as a leader in international education. Our innovation and dedication has led to worldwide focus on our efforts and initiatives, which have helped internationalize not only WVU's campus, but the State of West Virginia," noted Brustein.
