English Language Pathway at WVU
One-Semester
This one-semester option is great for students who are close to meeting WVU's English Proficiency Requirement, but need additional support.
- Take for-credit English as a Second Language courses
- Take courses towards your WVU degree
- Prepare for university-level coursework
- Most students take two ESL courses and three degree-pursuant courses
Two-Semester
The two-semester program is for students who need additional English support before entering WVU, and for those who have graduated from the full-time Intensive English Program.
